A mocktail making workshop was held on May 16, 2014 from 17:30 to 18:30 in ILG 126. This is the second last ELC Spring Semester Events 2014 and the purpose is to provide participants a relaxed setting to use English and to make friends. Participants of the workshop worked together in groups and took turns to make three types of mocktails with all materials and tools provided. Aside from knowing the names of the tools, such as shakers, bar spoons, measuring cups and several types of glasses, they also learnt some technical terms of cocktail making such as to build, blend, shake and to create layers, and a few types of alcohol for making cocktails. Participants were excited to use shakers for the first time, and in the end they enjoyed their drinks with food.
