The annual ELC Retreat was held at the Sofitel Ponte 16 Hotel on Tuesday, August 19, 2014. During this time, ELC academic and administrative staff welcomed two new Senior Instructors as well as two new Teaching Fellows and, for the first time ever, four new English Language Teaching Assistants. While engaging in ice-breakers and strategic team-building exercises, staff could think critically and put their skills to the test in competitive activities. This is the most exciting time of the year at the ELC, as it kicks off the start of a new academic year and allows us the chance to get warmed up for the classroom!
