The ELC had the pleasure of hosting and co-sponsoring with the United States Department of State an international English language teaching conference from January 19 – 20, 2013. The theme of the conference was “Working Towards a Common Core in Macao: Many Voices, One Vision,” and English language experts teaching from more than 10 countries presented at the conference to share their knowledge with more than 150 participants representing primary, secondary, and tertiary institutions. The conference is one of the ELC’s major efforts to establish closer ties with local secondary schools, and we are proud to announce that more than 25 local schools were represented at the conference.
